Flapping Ports

Hi Guys would someone be willing look at some ports i have flapping

Vlan 204 is a wireless network & Vlan 110 is CCTV & Door locks 

Port G2/0/3 & G1/1/1 are in the same stack

Sep 22 06:23:56.860: %SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host 8875.9875.8a7d in vlan 40 is flapping between port Gi1/1/1 and port Gi2/0/5

after looking at the topoloy it looks like it being caused by the CCTV or Door locks on vlan 110

some security system act or behave odd, is this 2 ports connected to Security door system ? i would ask vendor to investigate, there may be faulty system.

Thanks as always Balaji, its always vlan110 that causes the topology change but sometimes it causes different ports to flap

i make a note of the logs and check in the path what is wrong, also note the MAC address and investigate.

yeah i've been doing that but i'm not getting anywhere

all the mac's lead me back to wireless devices

if you have roaming, we see that messages that is normal (if this is wireless).

Please disable feature mesh of Access Point Wi-Fi, if you use unifi Access Point please uncheck feature use mesh or uncheck use wireless for uplink mode globle setting

Thanks Guys but none of the suggestions are helping i'm getting reports of users having to disconnect and reconnect

is this normal, not sure you need to tell us, its your network.

most cases if the user turn off the device the ports go up and down, that is normal, you do not like to see that message then you need to disable that feature on the interface.

if the user device connected and you have network intermittent, then you need draw a plan and troubleshoot, where any loops in the network.

by the way, what switch model, what IOS code running,?

Thats the problem i'm not sure how troubleshoot this, the site is remote

First i would draw network diagram, start working from top to bottom or bottom to top of the network.

you need someone onsite to help you, but if you like to keen to resolve this issue, i would go personally rather rely the other person information to fix the issue.
