IE 4010 boundary clock, PTP not working on access ports

Hi,

I have a IE-4010-4S24P switch with "15.2(8)E6 (Crypto) UNIVERSAL" firmware.
I have configured it to act as a boundary clock (Power profile), and the switch succesfully synchronizes with a GPS clock connected to an access port (VLAN 2). To another access port (VLAN 3) I have connected a slave clock. The port's state becomes correcly "MASTER", but the slave clock is unable to synchronize. From a wireshark trace I can see that the switch sends Announce, Sync and Follow_Up messages but no Peer_Delay_Req. The switch also doesn't respond to Peer_Delay_Req messages sent by the slave clock.
How the access should be configured?

When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '

In the bug report, the problem was a missing source IP address. The Power profile utilizes L2 transport, so these issues are not related.

Hi,

Have you observed any ptp errors at your Master and Slave ports (show ptp port gi 1/x counters errors)?

Are your ptp ports at the default port-type state (NNI)?

Is your switch configuration in any way specific as for the multicast traffic?

Have you tried to configure "ptp allow-without-tlv" ?

Thanks & Regards,

Antonin
