Impact of transforming OSPF stub areas into NSSA

Hi all,

I have a customer that currently runs OPSF with around 10 non-zero areas, all of them stub. He's thinking into putting some new routers on each area for testing, and injecting some static routes (10 each) from them, turning the stub areas into NSSA.

What we are wondering is what is going to be the impact of having around 100 new routers coming from NSSA areas. Can it be of any concern? I am expecting no impact once the routes are injected and stable.

Hi

you are right, nothing bad should happen. One thing to consider - assign new networks within classful boundaries - if this networks will grow, it will be easy to summarize.
