Port/VLAN mirroring on CBS250-16T-2G

Hi,

We have recently purchased a CBS250-16T-2G switch (the model SG200-18 that we were using is no longer available) which, according to the datasheet, should have support for up to 4 ports or 4 VLAN mirroring. However, we couldn't manage to configure the mirroring through the Web interface.

In the SG200-18 the port has to be configured in Forbidden mode of operation, but this options is not available in CBS250-16T-2G. Indeed a "mirroring" in the built-in help does not produce any result.

We upgraded the FW to 3.4.0.17 without success.

Does CBS250-16T-2G actually support mirroring? If so, how is it configured?

Best regards

 Ivan

In fact, it is on the datasheet and there is video explain how to deploy. If you followed all the step and still no luck. then, you probably might have a faulty device in hand.

In this Cisco Tech Talk, we'll show you how to configure port mirroring on a CBS 250 or 350 series switch through the device's web interface.

Hi,

Please make sure you are at the "Advanced" mode (top right corner menu). You will find "mirroring" under the "Status and Statistics" > "SPAN".

Best regards,

Antonin
