QOS on 6500 switch

Hello I am trying to guarantee 100mbps for a vlan across a gig link.  I have done some research and found this command for switches

mls qos srr-queue input priority-queue 2 bandwidth 20

However it doesn't seem to work for my 6500.  I know the 6500 uses PFC for QOS but I have no idea how it works.  Can anyone tell me how I can guarantee a vlan 100mbps across a 1gig link?

You might rate-limit all traffic, but from the "special" VLAN to 900 Mbps.  Or, you might map just the "special" VLAN to its own hardware queue and insure that queue will obtain at least 10% of the gig bandwidth.

Yes but how would you rate limit the vlan to 900mbps or guarantee 10% of the bandwidth? I specifically do not know the commands because the mls qos srr-..... doesn't work on the 6500.  Can you give me an example?

6500 series QoS is very dependent on hardware.  You might start here: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/solutions/Enterprise/WAN_and_MAN/QoS_SRND_40/QoSCampus_40.html#wp1101384
