Can a VCS Expressway use the Acano Edge server as TURN server?

Hi guys,

Can a VCS Expressway use the Acano Edge server as TURN server for media relay?

Imagine a network with two external connectors: VCS Expressway and SFB Edge, each one using a different domain.

If a SFB client from an outside company wants to connect to a VC device at internal network, the call will not complete, because the call will be sent to the VCS Expressway (as default, without Lync interop) and will not handle the MS codec implementation. If this customer have an Acano Edge configured as TURN, can the VCS Expressway still answer this call and use the Acano Edge as TURN to process the media? If yes, It will be able to handle the codecs?

If not, is an alternative to substitute the VCS E by an Acano Edge?

I would not recommend such an construct, because i think Cisco will sooner or later integrate the acano edge into the expressway and if that happens your construct will no longer be supported.
