Cisco Meeting Server - Uploader component mandatory with vBrick?

Is the CMS Uploader mandatory when integrating vBrick DME and REV for streaming?

Uploader scans the NFS and upload  new recording to REV Automatically. You need Uploader.

Does it mean that the streaming cannot work without uploader? Normally we can enable streaming feature only with vBrick and keep the recording in the NFS Server.

Recording will keep the files in NFS… Uploader is to automatically upload it to REV.

If you use the CMS streamer feature, then you don't need the CMS uploader.

As @Nithin Eluvathingal said, you only need the uploader, if you have recordings in your NFS and want to automatically upload them to vBrick, e.g. because you also have the CMS recording deployed, which stores the recordings in your NFS.
