Infrastructure / licenses necessary to support EX90 telepresence units?

Hi,

My organization has 4x EX90 and 1x Profile 52 Telepresence units. I would like to know what infrastructure is necessary to get these devices working, and have integration with Skype?

Based on one design guide that I skimmed I assume, that I would need a VCS server, and something to act as a Lync server. Or has Lync / Skype been integrated into the VCS / Expressway system?

Can anyone tell me what licenses / contracts I will need to buy in order to be able to download the VCS / Expressway .ova files so that I can install them on my ESXi host? and then are there any licenses required to use the 5x telepresence endpoints I already have?

Thank You,

Chris

Hello,

If you have only 5 endpoints and wanted them to enable call with Skype.
Then you can deploy a single VCS server and you will need the below licenses-
VCS software Release Key LIC-SWVMVCS-K9
And to integrate with Microsoft SFB-
Microsoft Interoperability : LIC-EXPMSFT

For more detailed information of VCS licensing, please see the below link- (Page 384 : Product Identifiers and Corresponding Keys)

https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/vcs/admin_guide/Cisco-VCS-Administrator-Guide-X8-11-4.pdf

Also please see the below link for integration of VCS and Microsoft environment-

Thanks.
