Is there a comparison of how 480p,576p, and 720p would look on the same cisco endpoint?

Hi everyone!

If my video endpoints include the DX series and Jabber for Windows, would there be a noteable difference between the user experience for these resolutions? Is there a comparison of these (preferably a video comparing resolutions side by side for jabber or a video enabled phone)?

Thanks!

It's a pretty easy comparison to do yourself - just fire up a YouTube Video and have a look at different resolutions while on the same viewing device.

The DX has a 1920x1080 screen, so, if you're displaying a lower resolution image on it, it needs to be scaled upwards.  Obviously, the more it needs to be scaled, the less clear it will be.

How "noteable" this will be will depend on the user and what they're used to seeing.  For someone who's used to looking at full 1080p60, seeing a scaled up 480p30 image will be quite bad, but someone who's used to looking at a lower resolution video may think it's fine (until they start seeing more of the good stuff).

Thanks Wanye, I was hoping there was some sort of MOS for Cisco video endpoints depending on resolution and screen sizes :)
