SX-80 +speakertrack + presenter track

We have an SX80 with software version CE 9.2.2. We have 2 screens for the setup,

We have speakertrack and presenter cameras setup and both works fine. But they do not seem to be able to auto switch between the presenter camera and the speaker track cameras. We have searched the varoius settings provided but we do not seem to be able to find any settings activating the automatic switch between the cameras. We can though switch between the cameras manually but we need it to be done automatically. Is there a way to do that?

Brian,

That is correct, the codec does not auto switch between ST and PT, you must manually switch between them.

Have you defined the trigger zone and stage area? Once you've done that and put it in presenter mode, it should be able to switch from the front to back cameras. See this video that's how it should work, but you do have to enable presenter mode to do it:

See the admin guide page 59 for setup, and try the diagnostics mode to see if you have everything set up.

Thanks for input. Yes, we did configure the trigger zone and it works fine.

In our setup we have the speaker track functionality (2 cameras under dual display) and a "presenter" camera in the ceiling pointing towards the dual screens. Our aim is to have the setup switch automatically between these 2 cameras if at all possible. But very unsure how to configure it, the documentation does not give a clear answer.

If the trigger zone is working, that means you are successfully going from ST to presenter camera - yes? That's what the trigger zone is for. So what's the issue then, it won't switch back to pure ST mode? It doesn't do that, if you are in presenter mode and it's triggered you will either have a presenter view or sometimes a composite view (as shown in the video) which shows both views at once. It sounds like you are trying to use presenter track simply as an expansion of ST functionality, that is not what it's designed to do. When there is nobody standing/presenting, turn presenter mode off on the Touch 10

We now made it work, however we need to switch to briefing mode. If in briefing mode the switch between the presenter camera and the speaker track cameras occurs automatically. However, that presents yet another challenge as there are only 2 screens in the setup. As per the documentation we would need to add a third screen to support the briefing mode functionality and then I believe we are ok.
