Hi
I have TMS 14.2 and PE configured. All working OK. Users are imported into TMS via Active Directory LDAP and log into MOVI using Active Directory usernames and passwords. All OK
The question I have has to do with the send account informaiton function of TMS. When TMS sends the account informaiton to users it generates a generic password that doesn't match the AD passwords.
Can someone explain the conneciton? and can i stop this feature from working?
When we send the account informaiton out to users I can inform them via a message template to use their Active Directory password to log into MOVI.
Thanks
Rod

I think I've figured this one out.
This is a generic password in additon to the AD LDAP password which is stored in the tmspe database?
I've removed the {password} command from the provisioing services email and replaced it with my own wording.
Problem resolved.

Hi Rod,
Glad you've resolved it. This password would be used by hard endpoints such as EX90 to get provisioned when using digest authentication, as these endpoints unlike the Movi and Jabber Tablet, do not support NTLM authentication.
Thanks,
Guy
