Cisco UCS FlexPod team is pleased to release a Cisco Validated Design deployment guide covering UCS Director Management and automation of FlexPod Data Center with VMWare vSphere. The CVD includes the use-cases UCSD, BMA installation & configuration, publishing Standard & Advance Catalog, Order/Deploy an instance, Trigger & scheduler, Chargeback, VM Resizing, Decommission an instance, PXE Boot on iSCSI Boot LUN using Orchestration Workflow, Provision NetApp Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) and Associate to Virtual Machine, Provision Clustered Data ONTAP Storage within SVM, Resize Datastore using NetApp Virtual Storage Console through Orchestration Workflow, Provision Network and Resize Virtual Machine using Custom Approval task Workflow and others in order to accomplish example customer use cases.

The example use cases highlighted in this CVD are supported as of UCS Director Release 5.1. These example workflows are also include (attached) as a .zip file in this post for use UCS Director Release 5.1.0.0.
