I'm trying to connect a Cisco Router 2901 x 1 VIC2-4FXO and 1 VIC2-2FXO, with a CallManager 9.1.1 but the Router doesn't register at the CallManager.

I had cofigured the Router with the follow commands:

!

ccm-manager config server 192.168.1.4

ccm-manager config

!

mgcp

mgcp call-agent 192.168.1.4 2427 service-type mgcp version 0.1

mgcp behavior rsip-range tgcp-only

mgcp behavior comedia-role none

mgcp behavior comedia-check-media-src enable

mgcp behavior comedia-sdp-force enable

!

mgcp profile default

!

!

And cofigured the Gateway at the CallManager with the attached image:

Could someone help me?

Best Regards.

Are you sure you're matching the hostname and the domain?? no typos?

Have you tried a no mgcp/mgcp??

Yes the hostname, domain and IP Address are correct.

And I tried the "No MGCP" / "MGCP", but it doesn't work.

Hi Manish/Jamie,

have the same problem as flavio, fxo not registering on call manager

kinldy assist

You need to post the gateway running config and screenshot of gateway config on cucm along with following output

show ccm-manager

What troubleshooting have you done??

Can you post "sh ccm-manager"?

Chris

Router2901_MA#sh ccm-manager

% Call Manager Application is not enabled

Hi,

check the following:

! this is also necessary in the VGW config:

ccm-manager mgcp

! use the correct FXO port here:

dial-peer voice 1 pots

port 0/1/0

application mgcpapp

G.

I don't know if my Router IOS have this feature cause doesn't have the command "application mgcapp", the version is

c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.153-3.M1.bin

I have 5 FXO ports to use, and they are in a "trunkgroup" called "PSTNOut"

dial-peer voice 2 pots

trunkgroup PSTNOut

description para chamadas cel DDD 9 digito

destination-pattern 0[1-9][1-9]9........$

direct-inward-dial

forward-digits 11

prefix 015

!

Tks

So... you're already using H323... why are you configuring them with MGCP????

It's one or the other, you cannot have two protocols controlling the same FXO ports...

Im configuring with MGCP because my CCM only have the option for VIC2-4FXO witch MGCP, H323 doesn't have this VIC2-4FXO.

Where can I check if the router is configured with H323?

Thanks.

Flavio,

It looks like you are missing the "ccm-manager mgcp" command in the global configuration mode.

To enable the gateway to communicate with  Cisco CallManager through the Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) and  to supply redundant control agent services, use the ccm-manager mgcp command in global configuration mode.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3t/voice/command/reference/vrht_c4_ps5207_TSD_Products_Command_Reference_Chapter.html#wp1072910

Do a mgcp / no mgcp once its added. Make sure that the domain name on cucm is the same as it appears in the 'show ccm-manager' output on the gateway. If the issue persists, please post show tech as requested earlier.

Yes I did it, and still not running.

Muchas gracias, eso era todo lo que necesitaba. Saludos desde México.
