Creating IM & Presence Application User

We are using a 3rd party application to tie into our IM&P Instance and the documentation states to create an application user, but I'm unable to find where this is done in the 11.5.1 release. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction for creating an application user for Presence?

You create application users on CUCM

Hi Randy

As Jaime mentioned, it’s on CUCM Admin > Users > Application Users. Depending what you’re expecting the service account to do you may need to create a custom role & access group to grant it access to components on IM&P. Giving it superuser is an easy way start though.

If your integration expects to use XMPP to send/receive messages the service account would likely need to be an end user instead.
