Cucm 9.1 cannot access via Gui

Hi,

Recently I installed CUCM 9.1 in Vmware.

I am able to access it from cmd line only from Gui it giving me error

HTTP Status 404 - /ccmadmin/showHome.do

type: Status report

message: /ccmadmin/showHome.do

description: The requested resource (/ccmadmin/showHome.do) is not available.

I restarted Cisco Tomcat services and restarted cucm but still problem exists.

This problem got solved with time.

After you upgrade the server needs quite a bit of time to do some back work behind the curtains.

Just wait up to an hour , and it gets fixed.At least I have had this now many times and it always gets fixed by time.

i am using VmWare 9 and im installing it for lab purpose

Hardware

4 GB of RAM

160 GB HD.

intel quadcore CPU @2.66Hz

Same here upgraded from 8,6.2 on vmware ova is for the 9.x

I think you forgot a port number in URL

Step 2

In the address bar of the web browser, enter the following case-sensitive URL:

https:// CM-server-name>:{8443}/ccmadmin/showHome.do

where: equals the name or IP address of the server

Typing URL accordingly manual is the solution. Without waiting something. It works.

comon thats not the problem.

Most ppl use the default url

i.e.

http://ip/ccmadmin

or https://ip/ccmadmin

Which does take you to the right place if everything is working.
