Good day Experts.
I have been tasked with giving my company the following.
1. Motivation of moving from CUCM 9.X to 11.X what benefits will the company have? Remember i need serious motivation to convince non technical people why we should upgrade. They will ask me what is the Return on Investment of the upgrade.
2. I also need to know what the license part numbers are for a new installation and an upgrade I need a license for 100 users.
LIC-CUCM-10X-ENH-A--->UC Manager-10.x Enhanced Single User-Under 1K
LIC-CUCM-11X-ENH-A--->UC Manager-11.x Enhanced Single User-Under 1K
Is this the license i need? is this upgrade or fresh installation? advise and give me the part numbers.
3. Lastly Please give me a URL that will show or give me a compatibility matrix of what phones will work with CUCM version 10/11. I dont want to upgrade and find myself with some phones that have been deprecated.
Thanks

Hi,
Cisco Call manager 9 would get end of support by Dec. 2018 so, it is better to upgrade to latest version.
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-callmanager/eos-eol-notice-c51-735216.html
For IP phones compatibility, u can refer the link
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/compat/11_x/cucm_b_cucm-imp-compatibility-matrix-11x.html
for new and changed features in CUCM 11,
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/rel_notes/11_5_1/cucm_b_release-notes-cucm-imp-1151/cucm_b_release-notes-cucm-imp-1151_chapter_010.html
If the organisation has SWSS contract, then u can place the upgrade order through PUT for CUCM 11 .You would get the upgrade patch along with permanent licenses for users.
regds,
aman

https://www.scribd.com/document/233027594/97573-Benefits-of-Upgrading-CUCM-From-8-x-to-9-1-or-10-0-pdf
