CUE ## after leaving msg transfers to operator

CME 4.0 (12.4(4)XC) & CUE 2.3.1

After a caller leaves a message, if they press ## to send the message with normal priority, they get:

"Message sent."

"Please wait while I transfer your call."

Then they get transfered to the operator?!

This happens in both DID calls rolling to VM, as well as calls transfered to VM boxes directly from the AutoAttendant.

I do not believe that this is the intended default behaviour. Has anyone else run into this, or do you know how to resolve this?

Thanks,

The first # sends the message, then if no DTMF tones are detected it will disconnect the call; if any dtmf tone is detected, then it will forward to the voicemail operator extension (which could be configured to whatever you want to), as per CSCsa92835. Prior to 2.3.1 it would always send the call to the operator regardless of whether or not a dtmf tone was entered.
