I need to upgrade my CUCM 5.0 to Version 7.1.2,3,5 or 8.0.3.

I am using CUCM 5.0,  on a MCS 7845 H1 platform. I need to upgrade my CUCM 5.0 to Version 7.1.2,3,5 or 8.0.3. Can it be directly upgrade? And will it support Cisco Unity 7, Gateway (SRST) 2801 and 2821, Gatekeeper 2811, IP Phone 7961 G.

This is the supported platrforms list for CUCM.

The table is a little hard to read, however it does show that version 8.x is not supported on your 7845-H1. It is only supported as a bridge server - in that you can use it as a staging server when migrating to another hardware platform.

You can run 7.1(5) on the server - however check the memory and disk requirements.

You can't directly upgrade from any 5.0 release to 7.1(5). You need to be on 5.1(3) first.

You can upgrade to 5.1(3) from 5.0(4) and later.

In terms of the rest of your queries, yes, CUCM 7.X will work with Unity 7, SRST, Gatekeepers and the handset you specifiy.
