Jabber or IBM SameTime Plugin?

Hello

We have  client that is currently using IBM Lotus Notes and Sametime for email and IM. We will install the CUCM 8.6 and CUPS, with Jabber for Windows, IPhone and IPAD.

How can see integrate the CUPS with IBM SAMETIME, They are in the same domain, example:

xyz.com.br

Can i create an sub domain inside this xyz.com.br for example! And where i create this subdomain?

If use the IBM SAMETIME Plugin, how can use Jabber (IPAD,Windows,Iphone). Because Cisco Jabber for IPhone and IPAD is proprietary from Cisco.
