Phone disconnects after ~30secs of silence

I've had a recent complaint from my boss and nobody else seems to be having any problems.  He says when put on hold (dead silence no hold music from other company) he gets disconnected after approximately 30 secs.  No body else has come to me with this problem so far.  Is there some sort of timeout setting after complete silence?  I've looked all over the cisco unified CM administration and can't find anything nor have I found anything only so far.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  I'll try to provide any specific details that I can so feel free to ask.

Thanks,
Josh

Josh,

The silence MOH is controlled by the far end system, so if they play no MOH there is nothing you can do.

As to why it disconnects I would recommend looking at the call and determining which side the disconnect came from, was it you or the far side.

What type of trunks are you using?  PRI, SIP, etc?

Chris
