Hello Experts,

Need you advice on the below query related to Voice Gateways. Below is the product description:

Router Model: Cisco 3945

IOS: c3900-universalk9-mz.SPA.154-3.M5

Problem Description:

Few days ago we ordered UCK9 temp licenses from Cisco & after one week we ordered permanent UCK9 licenses. Do we need to install these permanent Licenses again as we installed temp licenses ? I have heard someone mentioning that after 60 days these temp Licenses will be auto converted to permanent. Request you to please shed some light on this doubt.

You can install the permanent licences just to be on safe side, see below how to.

Hi Karan,

you need to install the permanent licenses which u ordered.

after 60 days,temporary /evaluation licenses wud get expired.

You can generate the licenses by visiting site www.cisco.com/go/license and use the router serial number.
