Hello,
Just noticed our Firewall is dropping a huge number of packets and the source appears to be our new unity connection server. I can find any reference to the above port in this : http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/10x/security/guide/10xcucsecx/10xcucsec010.html. Does Unity normally broadcast like this?
Thanks for any help!

If you are referring to UDP RTP ports then yes, voice conversation from any endpoint i.e. phone, voice gateway etc can connect on any of the ports in large range. For this reason it is not recommended to place Unity Connection behind a firewall from the endpoints.

Thanks Chris. The service is not live yet, its still awaiting licensing so there should be very little if any traffic from it. Its behind the corporate FW as is everything so thats not going to change but the host has no local FW. I'll dig a bit deeper and see what I find. It does indeed appear to be UDP's.
