Standard CTI Allow Control of ALL Devices, for Contact Center

Hi Pals,

Wanted to ask you, this questions.

 

We have appusers that control the phones CTI using UCCE, in those app users we have the roll arrigned "Standard CTI Allow Control of All Devices",

 

My questions would be if I have the role "Standard CTI Allow Control of All Devices" to my appuser, Do I still have to associate Phones/Jabbers to the AppUser so they can be controlled?

Yes. you do.

The application has to be written to support the function control all phones. AFAIK UCCE does not do so.

i think i misread this. the appuser has nothing to do with jabber. the device must be associated with the end user profile fo jabber/

 

I think that the OP is using Jabber as CC agent phone device. Those would from what I know be controlled by an app user.
