C240 M3 LFF with BROADCOM 57810 10Gb A-FEX SFP+

Hi All,

We are trying to connect 10Gb interfaces of BROADCOM 57810 10Gb A-FEX SFP+ to upstream Cisco 3850 10Gb ports. We tried both sfp-10g-sr and twinax cables but the link is not coming up. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Hi Indika,

From the spec sheets of both devices it looks like you have supported sfps.   To isolate the problem have you check that the ports on each device are working? For example, you can connect a twinax cable between two ports of your broadcom adapter and see if the link comes up.
