Hi all,

We have Cisco UCS 6248UP UCS Manager V.2.2(3f)  and we need to upgrade if possible to last Suggested version 3.2(3d) without any interruption to our services.

Is that possible and what are the steps that we must follow?

Thank you...

Hi,

there is no direct upgrade possible to the newest version. You need to do a intermediate step to 3.1 firmware and in the next step to 3.2

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/ucs-manager/GUI-User-Guides/Firmware-Mgmt/3-2/b_UCSM_GUI_Firmware_Management_Guide_3_2/b_UCSM_GUI_Firmware_Management_Guide_3_2_chapter_010.html#concept_E9D7E7364D314FFE87209A3D91A0AA41

The firmware upgrade is done one FI after another so there is always one FI online. There should be no interruption to your services.

I would recommend the Firmware Auto Install features which works fine.

Regards

 Martin
