If you have two UCS each with a pair of of 6248 fabric interconnects, configured similarly (same VLANs for ex) - what should be considered when moving a blade from one chassis to another? We're moving to a new cage and we will be using 6248s in the new cage just like the existing and I'll have two chassis setup in advance. The management VLAN and subnet which permits addressing of the blades/ESXi will remain the same. Will the moved blade from UCS OLD grab a new MAC Address when moved to UCS NEW? Anything else to consider in this kind of move?
Thank you.

When you move the blade to the new UCS domain, it will take whatever configuration you are applying to it via the service profile, including mac addresses, WWPN, boot order, BIOS policy etc. If you have the operating installed locally it will travel with the blade to the new domain. If OS is installed to remote storage, you will need to ensure it is provisioned correctly to allow access to the NEW UCS.
Make sure you fully decommission the blade server from UCSM before physically removing it from the chassis and moving it to the new 6248 pair.
