Can someone help me in configuring multicast policy in UCS.
I have a redhat cluster heartbeat on vlan 300. I have configured a multicast policy and applied to that vlan.
I'm not sure i have configured correctly:
IGMP Snooping state: enabled
IGMP snooping querier state : enabled
IGMP Snooping IPv4 address : ? whats this address is
I have read another blog says we need to disable snooping state to work.
Any suggestions

The igmp snooping address should be an unused IP address for use by the querier. In the LAN tab for VLAN 300 did you specify to use the multicast policy that you created?
The cluster should work with igmp snooping enabled as long as the querier is properly configured

Thanks Guys , I have created a new multicast policy with IGMP snooping disabled(by default its enabled) and assigned the policy to the vlan and everything start working.
