What happens if the global profile for the vSAN ID changes? We added two blades to our UCS and when we tried to map storage to the vHBA's we found that the would not connect. Further research found that the global vSAN had some how changed and I was wondering what issues that may cause? Would I lose connectivity to my boot from SAN LUN's and or other LUN's?
Are the UCS FIMs connected to an MDS enviroment? Typically a VSAN will not just change in its own, there must be a missing link here. Are you using vHBA templates to set the vSAN? How many VSANs are present in the system?
