What I wanted to achieve is to bridge both 192.168.0.0 and 192.168.1.0. Maybe I'm just doing it all wrong.

oops. my bad. ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 123.123.123.122 But this didn't solve the issue. Are you suggesting that BVI2 is unnecessary? BTW it doesn't work without it either.
