what is the use case, what does the group contain ? why do you need to use twice ? you can also group them and use only one object-group.

Most of the images and software available over internet. yes the images are compatible with eve or pnet or so on. check their documentation how you can configure. FYI CML from cisco free for 5 devices and 20 device for $200 License version of images.

Yes and NO depends on the deployment. So better explain your environment and code running, is this WLC Managed by DNAC, is this Wireless part of SDA ?
