Cannot find original installation disk for SPA504G

I wish to upgrade the firmware for my SPA 504G (currently sitting at 7.4.3A). However, despite tearing apart my office I cannot find the CD that came with the phone. To make matters worse, the computer on which the software was originally installed was replaced. Does anyone know if I can install a firmware update without the original files? If not, where do I get the original files?

Thanks

Brian

Hi Brian, the firmware may be uploaded without any kind of CD.

I would recommend to do incremental firmware upgrades. The 7.4.3 is rather old. The most current, 7.5.4 will not load to the phone unless the phone is on the 7.5.2 or later.

Here's the link to the 7.5.4

To upgrade the software, the easiest way is to use a Windows Computer. There is an .EXE file within the zip file. Remove the entire zip content to a common place such as the desktop of the computer. Run the upgrade EXE and enter the prompted information.

Just be sure to load the 7.5.2 otherwise any effort loading the 7.5.4 will fail.
