Hello,
I am wanting to change the 7905's I have over to SIP...
I have set up the TFTP server with the appropriate files:
CP7905010100SIP030807A.sbin
CP7905010100SIP030807A.zup
lddefault (cfg file)
The TFTP Server Log shows as follows:
Connection received from 192.168.0.122 on port 14820 [22/09 23:28:38.647]
Read request for file <lddefault.cfg>. Mode octet [22/09 23:28:38.647]
Using local port 51571 [22/09 23:28:38.647]
<lddefault.cfg>: sent 1 blk, 66 bytes in 0 s. 0 blk resent [22/09 23:28:38.656]
Connection received from 192.168.0.122 on port 14821 [22/09 23:28:38.658]
Read request for file <CP7905010100SIP030807A.zup>. Mode octet [22/09 23:28:38.659]
Using local port 51572 [22/09 23:28:38.659]
<CP7905010100SIP030807A.zup>: sent 629 blks, 321622 bytes in 2 s. 0 blk resent [22/09 23:28:40.980]
The progress bar/percentage of the CP7905010100SIP030807A.zup file only ever gets to 80-90% before the phone resets its self. But as the Log States all of the 321622 bytes are sent (same as file size).
Then nothing changes on the phone just stays on the firmware below.
Current Phone Firmware:
App Load ID | CP79050101SCCP030404A |
Boot Load ID | LD0100BOOT021112A |
Software Version | 1.01(030404A) |
Hardware Revision | 0x0004 0x0000 |
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hello Netw00001,
I believe you may be experiencing a version control issue, can you please double check to make sure that you are using the most up to date IOS and CME versions to ensure there aren't any incompatibilities.
Another avenue to explore, is ensure that your IP phone is receiving the proper NTP information from the server, if after your apply your new .cfg file and run the command
sh ntp sta
If you see any output pertaining to failing to sync with the NTP server, then your issue lies there.
