Cisco UC320W-FXO-K9 "2 expansion USB ports" (future use)

I hope that I posted in correct forum section.

My setup and what I almost ordered today.

4x POTS (tel lines)

to

Cisco Small Business UC320W-FXO-K9 Unified Communications 320W with 4 FXO ports

to

Cisco Small Business SG300-28P (SRW2024P-K9-NA) 28-port Gigabit PoE Managed Switch

to

x4 - Cisco SPA501 SIP 8 Line IP Phone With PoE and PC Port SPA501

and

x2 - CISCO SPA514G SIP 4 Line IP Phone+Dsply PoE Gig PC SPA514G

I planned to use this in my office for my voice and data needs.

Questions:

1. Two USB ports for Cisco Small Business UC320W  are listed but (still) not availble? (Future use?)

- I planned to use 3g internet service for internet backup via 3G_USB modem.

- If no usb ports are availble, any workaround for 3g_modem is availble without changing the UC320?

2. Do I need to buy additional licences for using the listed hardware out of the box?

Thank you,

K

UPDATE: (due to "Cisco confidential" the link has been removed)

Q: What are the USB ports on the Cisco UC300 Series used for?

A. The USB ports are used for backup of configuration and voicemail; 3G backup will be supported in a

future release.

Q: (When is the "future" ? )

Hi,

Currently, we are only supporting an external USB memory stick for system backups and some support tools.  There is no support for 3G USB modem.

No, you do not need to buy additional licenses.  The Cisco UC320W comes with 24 built in licences.

Thanks,

Chris

Kraft,

The SPA514G is not currently supported on UC320W.   Please look at SPA504G as a replacement.
