UC520 - After Software Pack Update problem with IP Phone CP-7937G

Hi,

after update our UC520 to the Software Pack 8.6.1 I have a problem with IP Phone CP-7937G. I reboot the Phone and I get the message on the phone display "Change language" and the phone will automatically start again and again?

I have install two locale packs UC500_8.6.1_locale_de_DE.zip, UC500_8.6.1_locale_en_US.zip and the default Phone locale is German.

My Software Versions

Software Verison: 15.1(4)M5

Software Pack: 8.6.1

IOS: uc500-advipservicesk9-mz.151-4.M5

CME: 8.6

Voicemail: 8.6.5

All other IP Phones 7961...works fine. Can everbody help me?

Hello Jochen,

Please run the following command:

dir flash:/its | i .jar

if the output looks like the following:

251 -rw- 69843 Nov 20 2012 20:37:24 +01:00 user_define_4_rp-sccp.jar

Please add the following under config mode:

(config)# tftp-server flash:/its/user_define_4_rp-sccp.jar

if it is user_define_5_ just change accordingly.

and this solved my problem.

I do this:

dir flash:/its | i .jar

   267  -rw-       71712  Mar 11 2013 12:20:38 +01:00  user_define_4_tc-sccp.jar

   265  -rw-       69770  Mar 11 2013 12:20:38 +01:00  user_define_4_rp-sccp.jar

   260  -rw-       61838  Mar 11 2013 12:20:34 +01:00  user_define_4_be-sccp.jar

   264  -rw-       61653  Mar 11 2013 12:20:36 +01:00  user_define_4_mk-sccp.jar

   268  -rw-       61913  Mar 11 2013 12:20:40 +01:00  user_define_4_td-sccp.jar

(config)# tftp-server flash:/its/user_define_4_rp-sccp.jar

after that I register my IP Phone 7937G and restart the phone. After the restart the phone comes up and working correctly with the German locale.

Can someone explain to me what does the above command do?
