We've been trying to troubleshoot a problem a customer has had recently. Whenever they receive an incoming call it doesn't trigger any audio alert. The user's headset will beep twice, but there's no ringing notification sound coming from the computer, which is what we have it set up to do. We've already tried checking Webex and Windows sound settings, restarting Webex via the health checker, updating audio drivers, uninstalling and installing Webex, restarting the computer, changing to multiple variations of the sound settings, and ensuring the customer wasn't accidentally set to be in a meeting. What's really strange, when the Webex calling dock pops up to notify the customer about an incoming call, the customer can hit the bell notification on the Webex calling dock to silence the alert (even though there's no sound playing) and then hit the bell notification again to unsilence the alert, at which point the audio will play through the computer speakers and headset the way we want. We only have one person experiencing this problem.
Has anyone seen anything like this or can you suggest any possible solutions?
