webex calling

Hello,

can u have  a listen only mailbox in webex calling?    there will be no user attached.   just a DID pointed to a mailbox for employee hot line announcements?

Yes, simply create a shared voicemail group for that: https://help.webex.com/mcjd4u/

It can be done using the Extended Away greeting within the mailbox itself. At the moment, you cannot configure Extended Away from Control Hub. You will have to dial into the Voice Portal and log into the Group Voicemail. At that point, when you select greetings, you can set an Extended Away greeting, which doesn't allow messages to be deposited. The outgoing greeting plays and the call ends.

Hi, thanks for the reply.  I will use a vmail group.   I was also wondering if there is a way to have a listen only mailbox.   Just have employees call into box, listen to the daily greeting,  then have the box hang-up without taking any messages.  just a bulletin board mailbox..
