Cisco chat why is copy and paste such a challenge in this app

I can highlight, I can right click and pick copy, I can do Ctrl +C with a message or word highlighted, pick copy from the right click menu, it's a complete crapshoot if actually makes it to the clipboard.  This annoying as hell crap only happens in Cisco chat. 

I have other complaints but this one is the worst, I am trying to move us over to MS Teams because of stuff like this.

I agree with this post.  Copy and paste is such an unnecessary challenge with Cisco Chat, and is exasperated when you are in a rush or time crunched.  Copy and paste really needs to be improved Cisco.  And, while we're at it, it frustrating how some chat windows you can paste images (i.e. screenshots), but in a group or meeting, pasting images are not allowed.  Why?  Very often, in a meeting, it is useful to paste an image or screenshot, but nope.  Not possible.
