Wireless LAN Controller AireOS software releases prior to December 2013 are in the processes of being deferred due to the following bug:
CSCul68057 CF driver change for 5508/WiSM2/2504
This bug affects 2500, 5500 and WiSM controllers, and is fixed in the following releases of AireOS:
- 7.6.100.0 (release notes)
- 7.4.121.0 (release notes)
- 7.0 MR5 (to be released in February/March; for a pre-release version, see 7.0MR5 Pre-release Image Download Available)
For a complete fix, upgrade to FUS (Field Upgrade Software) 1.9.0.0 as well.
For further guidance on AireOS software selection, see the Product Bulletin Guidelines for Cisco Wireless Software Release Migration.

Hi Aaron,
Is that bug cause these deferral ? I saw following vulnerabilty notice today & once checked that I thought that may be the compelling reason for those software deferrals
