We have Cisco 9800 WLC running in to the network. we have MAC address based beautification enable based on their respective SSID. we recently upgrade our WLC to 17.3.3 version and after that we notice we have no option to add name against the mac address. is their any way to add name or description so that we could identify the mac address against the username ?

That's weird, you should always be able to add descriptions on defined MAC address.
If you just recently upgraded your WLC, you may want to clear your browsers cache (or try accessing mgmt via incognito) try to see if it helps
It should look like this

i have tried this in incognito window and all other three different browsers but no luck, couldn't see the description option. we have recently upgraded to Amsterdam 17.3.3 version & after that we notice this problem.

Checked the Release Notes
There is a bug that can be related (not the issue itself) to MAC Filtering description issues: CSCvw65861
Listed under "Open Caveats for Cisco IOS XE Amsterdam 17.3.3"
How about trying to configure it via CLI. Here's the command
