Conflicts between 3602 and 3802?

We have a mix of APs in our environment with 3802i units mixed in amongst a mostly 3602i deployment.

Has anyone seen any issues with conflicts with having both in the environment?

We've had some weird cases of devices experiencing odd behavior in some areas that appears to go away when we harmonize to a single model of AP. So far, there haven't been enough cases of this to be definitive though and most areas seem to be ok with a mix.

We're running 8.2 code on our controllers.

What firmware is the controller running on?

As a design best practice you wouldn't want to mix APs with different capabilities (regardless of the model).

In this case 3602s are not 802.11ac (unless you have a 802.11ac module), so many clients may prefer to stick to an AP that is far away but provides 802.11ac speeds than to the best (closer) AP. That's usually the problem on these scenarios, so I would recommend to avoid having a mix on the same area, especially if there is a lot of roaming going on.
