Hello,

Could you tell me which external antennas are supported by the AIR-AP1852E-E-K9 ?

My customer has for the moment :

AIR-LAP1242AG-E-K9

AIR-LAP1262N-E-K9

Can I reuse the actual external antennas of those AP for the new ones (1852E) ?

regards

MARC

The antennas for the 1800 is not compatible with the 1200. What kind of antennas are being used for the 1200?

If the 1200 are using those articulated rubber ducks then the 1800 should be using the AIR-AN2524DB-R.

Hello,

There are using bigger antennas.

I'm unable to see the exact model of it.

Some pictures to show the used antennas.

Whao!  A Yagi and a disco-stick with a single AP?

I ain't going to recommend the corresponding antenna because this setup is not going to work on newer APs.

Get someone to re-assess the setup because it is bound to fail.

Antenna is a passive device. It is recommended to use cisco antenna with cisco APs.
I dont see antenna info here but It should work fine.
