i am using WAP2>>aes>>psk.i even trying without any security (open ssid) still behaviour is same.

Laptop able to see the SSID and not able to Join SSID -  There are many reasons, check the Drivers of the Laptop and upgrade where required ?

debug from from WLC and see what is the reason of end device failing to connect ?

                                       >... why laptop not able to connect.
You can also do online debugging with a laptop with :
monitor logging profile wireless filter mac <LAPTOP MAC>  (this command is used on the controller)
(issue the command first and then let the particular laptop connect to the SSID)
Note that if you know the AP the laptop is connecting to then on the particular  AP  you can also use this command :
                                        show ap client-trace events mac <LAPTOP MAC>
(this command is used on the access point, you can for instance do that on a secondary connection and watch all events unfolding 'in full  glory')

 Other debugging info's
You can debug clients with https://logadvisor.cisco.com/logadvisor/wireless/9800/9800ClientConnectivity , client debugs can be analyzed with https://cway.cisco.com/tools/WirelessDebugAnalyzer/ , also review the controller configuration with https://cway.cisco.com/tools/WirelessAnalyzer/ , this tool needs the output of CLI show  tech wireless , this procedure is strongly advised

Make sure when you try with an open SSID that you don't enable all the features and leave it as basic as you can.  This way you can work up and see what breaks.  Also make sure you try with different model laptops because behavior should not follow a Windows laptop that has an Intel NIC vs a Broadcom or even a Macbook.

First: make sure the WiFi network driver on the laptop is updated to the LATEST version.

Hi Rich R,

I am facing issue with only. Intel ® Wifi 6 AX 201 160MHz drivers. Other laptops working fine.

So are they all updated to driver version 22.200.0.6?
