More savy with the 2100 and need to understand how we can "enable" the DPorts (1 or 2) on the 4400 Controller connected to the 2960 Switch, DPorts showing down?

Idiots will ask questions only the once!

Hi,

what's the port config on switch ? it should not contain manual speed or duplex config. WLC is made for "auto" and expects the other side to be auto as well.

Did you also check your GBIC/GLC-T ? Maybe they are not inserted correctly or faulty ?

Hi,

We dont get any options for enabling gig ports on the 4400.

When browsing to the GUI. Link status is down, Physical mode is auto, physical status auto

I cannot change any of the options like "Physical Mode" to

Maybe you could provide some ideas as to why we cannot get this gigabitethernet port active.

The fibre transiever is Cisco and is working as we tested it on a Cisco Switch.

The port on the swtich we are connecting to is configured as a trunk port.

Thanks again

Links seem to be opertational now, error message we are getting on the 4400 is strange when trying to connect a

AIR-LAP1242AG-E-K9 it is :

Last Error Occured - Lwapp configuration request rejected

Last Error Occured Reason - Invalid License in configuration request

The 4402 is licensed for 25?

We can see the AP but it is not being allowed to join under static or DHCP during the discovery?  Any ideas?

Now getting %DTLS-5-ALERT recvd FATAL : Certificate unknown alert from controller

Bad cert alert from peer

controller closed connection

Invalid event 38 & state 3 combination

Strange...?

Can you post your WLC configuration ?

Are you allowing MIC certificates ? authorizing APs againt AAA maybe ?

In the wlc web page -> "security" -> "AP Policies".

Nicolas
