Newbie CUCM user -- Is it possible to set individual ATA not to dial 9 when dialing out.  We do not want to globally change the dial 9 for outside call rule just certain extensions

Form a new partition, duplicate the outgoing Route pattern, edit them by eliminating the extra 9, and place them in the new partition. Construct a new Calling Search Space, include the partition you created, and assign this Calling Search Space to the line. By doing this, you can dial out without the prefix 9, and it won’t impact your other phones.

Assume you have a Route Pattern (RP) of 9.9XXXXXX and the partition is outgoing.

Form a partition named P_ata-outgoing.

Create a Calling Search Space (CSS) named ata-css and include the partition ata-outgoing.

Duplicate the above or form a new Route Pattern of 9XXXXXX in P_ata-outgoing (ensure you assign the route list or gateway on RP).

On the ATA line, assign the CSS ata-css.
