CBS350-8T-E-2G Factory reset problem

Hello,

I have a problem with factory reset of CBS350-8T-E-2G.

Based on the manuals on the internet, I tried to reset it by pressing the button on the front.

I tried all the different methods because the information on the internet was different.

-Pressing and releasing the button for at least 15 seconds while the power is on
-Power off, then press and hold the button, then power on, then hold for 15 seconds, then release.

After that, now when I apply power, the terminals light up once and then the status light blinks. No matter how much time passes, it just keeps blinking.

When I try to Putty with the console cable to check the status, it just accumulates a bunch of weird broken character error codes and I can't do anything about it.

Does anyone have any idea how to reset and set it up again in this situation?

I have two of the same Cisco product, and they both have the same problem.

I need your help. Any questions are appreciated.

Try to wait a bit more then 15 and keep the eye on the port LEDs. According to what you have said, there is no option here. You need to fix this with the reset procedure.

With the switch powered on, press and hold the reset button for more than 10 seconds 

• Release the button when all the port LEDs light up
