Throughput of SR520-FE-K9

Dear all,

I have an end user considering to purchase SR520-FE-K9 or Cisco 2900  series routers for connecting their network to Internet via Metro Ethernet  broadband. The end users needs to have NAT enabled on the routers and they  concern about the throughput on the devices.

Anyone has information on the  SR520-FE-k9's performance so that i can compare the solution for customer?

Hi,

The SR520 is no longer available for sale by Cisco.  For a metro Ethernet product, you might find that the throughput of this device is insufficient.

The 2900 series is current.  Throughput will vary by model.
