Re: Developing own network server

Hi,

3rd party network server vendor must write/build/support the Packet Forwarder by themselves for production.

  • Cisco IXM LoRaWAN firmware integrates a pre-installed Semtech Packet Forwarder but strictly use for Network Server vendor lab validation, any activity out of this purpose may lead legal risk and enforce Cisco to remove this Packet Forwarder from IXM image
  • Cisco does NOT own this Packet Forwarder
  • Semtech indicates that packet forwarder is NOT for commercial
  • Semtech offers NO support for this packet forwarder
  • Semtech packet forwarder does NOT support Class-B, Multicast, LBT (Japan),..

Exemples of 3rd party network server integration are Orbiwise or TTN
