!! Cisco UCS C220 M4 - Hard Drives detection and Configuration !!

Hello y'all!

Data center is not my base area but I bough a used, and apparently, with little or no use server (UCS C220 M4 - AIR-CT5520-K9 C220M4.4.1.2f.0.1024230116, 4.1(2m) ).
The goal is to mount VMs inside (for my Certifications, for Win/Linux machines, LAB environments, and "My Computer every" -> got a VPN to my home), basically to 'get hands on' .

A really tried a lot of options so far! But here it goes:

  1. I already update the firmware: ucs-c220m4-huu-4.1.2m.iso
  2. Have 4 disks: --> All of them in front panel got the green LED.
    - 1x SSD SATA 2.5 240gb
  3. - 3x SAS HDD 6Gb/s 300gb
  4. In CIMC I got:

!! Problem: Can't detect any Storage unit. Don't no the utility of Cisco FlexFlash but for the case I think is not usefull. !!

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: STEPS DONE ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Through KVM, I have done the steps:

  1. Boot.
  2. F2 --> BIOS --> Advanced tab --> LOM and PCIe Slots Configuration --> PCH SATA Mode = LSI SW RAIDJooRomo_6-1715962580109.png
  3. Ctrl+C then Ctrl+M to LSI software RAID Configuration Utility (And in here only one disk shows up - SSD).--> I can only enter in this menu if I got the 'PCH SATA OPRom Mode' in 'Lecacy Only'.

  4. Re-update everything.
  5. Tried Every single disks individually, noting.

Resources - I found and tried to follow the information found (links below). But majority of the examples and youtube videos shows configuration of LSI MegaRAID SAS 9261-8i (or 12-drive form factor (RAID), and so far I think I don't have this.

So MY QUESTION to you all is: Using the HW that I've got (server and 4 slots for storage), how can I configure this in the proper way and get access to all disks.

By the way, this should not be so complicated.. Saw some videos of Dell - iDrac and felt a lot simpler.
