I upgraded to 3.1(2a) and then I reinstalled Fabric Manger and Device Manager. Fabric Manager won't start, error is "Unable to connect to server! Admin login from 127.0.0.1 failed". Device Manager is fine.
I am seeing the following entries in the logs for my MDS 9509 : 2007 Feb 7 01:48:03 PORT 5 IF_UP Interface mgmt0 on slot 5 is up There are no other entries in the log that the mgmt0 interface went down so why would alerts say that it is "up" ?
I have configured interface alert filters in the Admin/Events/Filters/Interfaces tab. In this tab I un-clicked the interfaces that I don't want to see alerts on. However, I still get email alerts on these ports that I un-clicked.
I have (2) sup1 since I'm currently running 2.1.1b. Here are the files I am trying to upgrade with :m9500-sf1ek9-kickstart-mz.3.1.2a.binm9500-sf1ek9-mz.3.1.2a.bin
I ran a 'show install all impact...' command and got the following output :Compatibility check is done:Module bootable Impact Install-type Reason------ -------- -------------- ------------ ------ 1 yes disruptive ...
There are no indications in the log that supervisor failover ocurred. Also, there are no alerts that say the primary sup went down only that it is "up".
