Hi Guys,
I have a client who has a 5508 firewall and am trying to forward port 25 to 10.0.0.7. I have had no success with this. The network is as follows:
Internet -> Cisco 2800 (port 25 open and working) -> HP Switch (Port forward working up to here...
attached is the telnet results.
The first is from the internet side of the firewall and the second is from the local network directly to the mail server.

The reason that the IP is assigned as a DHCP address is because for some reason the ASA does not allow traffic when the address is assigned static. We originally tried to configure this way and the only way we could get it to work was using DHCP.

The router has a port 25 forwarded to 172.16.0.13. This has been tested and verified using canyouseeme.org and connecting the mail server to the router with the IP...
